A National Weather Service SKYWARN Storm Spotter training session will be held on Thursday March 11, 2010 from 7 to 9 P.M. at the Farias Recreation Center at 1601 Farias Street (located along Santa Maria Ave just north of Chicago Street) in Laredo. The training is open to anyone interested in becoming a weather observer/storm spotter. The class is free and open to people of all ages. Storm spotter guides and pamphlets will be available to all attendees.
