LaredoHams FieldDay 2010
LaredoHams Amateur Radio Club will be hosting Field Day 2010 located at the parking lot across St Patrick Church at 555 East Del Mar Boulevard, Laredo, TX 78041. The main event is on Saturday June 26th from 8am to mid
night. Setup will be Friday 25th starting at 3pm and tear down will be Sunday at 3pm. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Some of the guests will include Texas State Guard, Laredo Fire Department, Laredo Police Department, Webb County Sheriff Department, Boy Scouts and more. Food will be provided by Rudy's BBQ selling a BBQ Combo with half of the proceeds going to LaredoHams.
To work as many stations as possible on any and all amateur bands (excluding the 60, 30, 17, and 12-meter bands) and to learn to operate in abnormal situations in less than optimal conditions. Field Day is open to all amateurs in the areas covered by the ARRL/RAC Field Organizations and countries within IARU Region 2. DX stations residing in other regions may be contacted for credit, but are not eligible to submit entries.
Field Day is always the fourth full weekend of June, beginning at 1800 UTC Saturday and running through 2059 UTC Sunday. Field Day 2010 will be held June 26-27, 2010.
